The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering principles, experience in procurement processes, and a keen eye for detail during site evaluations.
Candidate profile:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
- Proven work experience in procurement and site inspections is mandatory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated, adaptable and resilience person.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Excellent knowledge of the Greek and the English language (verbal and written communication skills).
- Excellent knowledge of MS-Office (i.e. Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Highly-organized, polite, kind and responsible person.
- Excellent, communication, PR and relationship-building skills.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Perform site visits and inspections, liaise with contractors and sub-contractors,
- Oversee procurement of materials and services for construction projects.
- Conducting on-site investigations and analyzing data.
- Conduct thorough site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
- Perform risk and value management, and cost control, during a project.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to optimize project delivery.
- Prepare and review reports, documentation, and contracts.
