On behalf of our client, a brand-new restaurant in Larnaca, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring that food preparation and service are executed to the highest standards.

Candidate Profile:

High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree preferred
Minimum of 1-2 years in a professional kitchen, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; proficient in kitchen management software and inventory control systems; knowledgeable about food safety regulations and best practices
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, ability to multitask, and a passion for culinary arts

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Operational Management:

Supervise kitchen staff, including cooks and dishwashers, fostering teamwork and a positive working environment.
Manage food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards.
Oversee inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure the kitchen is properly stocked.

2. QualityControl:

Ensure all dishes are prepared according to recipes and standards.
Monitor food quality and presentation; provide feedback to kitchen staff.
Conduct regular taste tests and quality assessments to maintain high standards.

3. Health and Safety:

Implement and enforce food safety regulations and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and storage areas.
Conduct regular health and safety inspections to ensure compliance.

4. Communication:

Liaise with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service and address any issues.
Communicate regularly with management regarding kitchen operations and team performance.
