Job Description
As part of an extension project for one of its airport concessions in European Union, Egis is looking for a Project Manager (m/f) to implement airport equipment and systems for a period of 2 years.
You will report functionally to the Equipment and Systems director.
You will be responsible for the project implementation of airport equipment and systems such as baggage handling system, common use terminal equipment, security screening equipment, access control system, airport information management system, automatic border control system, IT network, and airfield ground lighting system.
This role includes the following activities:
- Set up and manage the project team on-site.
- Be in charge of the operational and financial management of the project.
- Ensure the quality-costs-delays of the Turnkey equipment contract.
- Participate in drafting supplier specifications (technical and administrative documents) and analyze company offers.
- Negotiate subcontracts with suppliers and ensure follow-up.
- Monitor and update the implementation schedule.
- Supervise and follow up on-site works.
- Achieve contractual follow-up with the Client.
- Provide regular reports to the Project Committee, including risk analysis follow-up.
Qualifications
With an engineering degree, you have at least 10 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 5 years in systems (ideally airport systems) or equipment on projects of varying sizes (up to several million euros) and in various fields.
- You have the leadership skills needed to manage the project team in a multicultural environment.
- Thanks to your interpersonal skills and fluency, you are able to maintain a constructive dialogue with the client, partners, and project team members.
- You have demonstrated your ability to work as part of a team.
- You have the ability to write tender documents or reports.
- Your autonomy and decision-making ability allow you to intervene in large-scale projects.
- You are recognized for your rigor.
- Proficiency in English is imperative.
