Position: Head of Legal
Brilliant Gaming, which operates in the online casino sector, is seeking an experienced and capable Head of Legal to strengthen our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing compliance policies, conducting audits, and providing guidance to staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement compliance policies in accordance with industry legal requirements.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to the company's management team on a wide range of legal matters.
- Manage and oversee the company's litigation matters, including working with external counsel when necessary.
- Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with regulatory standards.
- Provide legal guidance and support to staff on legal issues and compliance matters.
- Monitor developments in legislation and regulatory requirements impacting the online casino industry.
- Prepare and submit reports for the board of directors and relevant regulators.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree.
- At least 8 years of experience in a legal role, ideally within the gambling or online industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of regulations governing the gambling industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in a leadership role.
- A team player with effective time management skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English.
