About The Role
Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing an organization's purchasing activities and ensuring that goods and services are acquired efficiently, cost-effectively, and in accordance with company policies. Procurement Manager develops and maintains supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, evaluating vendor performance, and coordinating with internal departments to understand and meet their needs.
What You 'll Be Doing
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring reliable supply chains and fostering collaboration
- RFP Planning, Development, Execution
- Supplier evaluation and selection
- Terms negotiation to ensure competitive pricing for goods and services
- Prepare and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards, and resolve disputes or issues that arise
- Monitor conformity with SLAs and KPIs
- Monitor inventory levels, manage stock, and coordinate purchasing to avoid shortages or excess
- Develop budgets for procurement activities and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Assess risks associated with procurement and supply chain activities and develop mitigation strategies
- Implement best practices and continuously improve procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Conduct regular vendors assessments
- Ensure that all procurement activities adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements
- Lead and mentor a team of buyers or procurement professionals
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, ideally in Finance or equivalent work experience in the field of Banking
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel, Word etc)
- Excellent interpersonal, listening, negotiation, collaboration
- Strong verbal and written communication skill
- Problem solving attitude
- Ability to work in fast paced environment
- Passionate about agile software processes, data driven development, reliability, and experimentation and experience working in a collaborative Agile team will be considered as extra assets
- Fluent Greek and English. Other languages a plus.
