Responsibilities
- Moderate user-generated content across leading social media platforms to uphold community guidelines
- Review and assess posts, comments, and messages in Italian for appropriateness and relevance
- Identify and escalate violations including hate speech, harassment, and misinformation
- Engage with community members by responding to inquiries about moderation policies and practices
- Collaborate with the moderation team to share insights and improve content moderation strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation of moderation decisions and track content trends
- Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on best practices and platform policy changes
Requirements
- Fluency in Italian with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Previous experience in content moderation, social media management, or a similar role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret context in varied content
- Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and their moderation guidelines
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting as well as collaboratively in a team environment
