St Raphael Resort & Marina is looking for a new associate for the position of Assistant Food & Beverage Manager to grow with us.
Job Overview
The Assistant Food and Beverage Manager will support the F&B Manager to lead, supervise, control and ensure the smooth running of all Food and Beverage Departments (Restaurants, Bars, Kitchens, Room Service, Banqueting) and the relevant team members, in the most efficient and effective manner. He/she will deliver the highest possible standards of service to all guests through the effective development, management and leadership of all human resources, equipment, and provisions under his responsibility. He/she will also be pro-active in maintaining and/or improving the department’s profitability in accordance with policies, procedures and standards set.
Main Responsibilities & Duties
• To thoroughly understand, adhere and train all team members about food quality, presentation, quality service, customer care culture, cleanliness, food safety and hygiene always with respect to the environment.
• Coordinates the smooth work process and communication between the F&B departments to ensure the prescribed threshold values for quality of service and ongoing improvement for guests.
• Recommends improvements of the organizational methods, operational procedures and information and control systems to both the General and F&B Managers, and continuously strives for improvements and the efficient work process of the hotel.
• Assists daily in the coaching of team members ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with the maximum efficiency and in the most productive manner.
• To monitor all Food and Beverage activities by actively participating in the service and be vigilantly attentive to service details, presentation standards and all produce quality. To ensure that all employees are treated fairly and consistently as outlined in the terms and conditions of employment, local legislation, and Hotel policies and procedures.
• Coordinates the smooth work process and communication between the F&B departments to ensure the prescribed threshold values for quality of service and ongoing improvement for guests.
• To regularly attend meetings with the F&B heads organized by the F&B Manager in order to ensure the smooth running and profitability of their departments.
• Assisting with employee recruitment, as well as overseeing the on-boarding process and training of new division staff members.
• To implement and follow the Hotel sales plan, promotions and entertainment.
Qualifications & Experience
• University degree in a relevant subject -– Hotel address
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position in 4- or 5-star Hotels
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English languages. It would be very useful to be acquainted with a third European language.
• Computer literate and familiar with Word and Excel.
• Analytical skills, responsible and able to present results.

• Holder of an EU passport/ID
