What You’ll Do
As our Pastry Chef, you will:
- Create and execute a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods that align with Panem Bakery’s standards of excellence.
- Oversee the preparation and baking processes to ensure consistency and quality.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and stocking ingredients, while minimizing waste.
- Train and mentor junior staff to ensure the highest level of craftsmanship.
- Adhere to health and safety standards in food preparation and kitchen operations.
What We’re Looking For
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Proven experience as a pastry chef or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your creations.
- Expertise in baking techniques, flavor combinations, and dessert presentation.
- Creativity and a passion for staying ahead of trends in the pastry industry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- A commitment to excellence and attention to detail.
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification (preferred but not required).
