Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess user-generated content on various social media platforms to ensure it meets community standards
- Review posts, comments, and messages in Norwegian, making informed decisions to approve, flag, or remove inappropriate content
- Document and report instances of policy violations, including hate speech, spam, and other negative behaviors
- Engage with users by addressing their inquiries and providing clarity on community guidelines
- Collaborate with the social media team to share valuable insights from user interactions and emerging trends
- Maintain detailed records of moderation actions and assist in compiling performance reports
- Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media moderation
Requirements
- Fluency in Norwegian with excellent written communication skills
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a bonus
- Prior experience in content moderation or similar social media roles is preferred but not mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately assess content
- Excellent critical thinking skills and sound judgment in moderation decisions
- Familiarity with major social media platforms and their content regulations
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a remote team in a fast-paced environment
