We are looking to hire a Budget & Expenses Financial Analyst
Due to expansion of department, we need a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. Candidates should be able to assist management with expert knowledge and quality advice.
They should be professional, polite, and attentive while also being accurate. They should be always prepared, alert and willing to meet each challenge directly.
Candidates must have excellent computers skills and excel in both verbal and written communication. Most importantly, candidates should have a genuine desire to anticipate and attend to the needs of others.

Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Business Administration
Minimum 3 years proven experience in the Finance/Accounting area in the Shipping Sector
Knowledge of Accounting principles, practices and procedures
Excellent knowledge of Advanced MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables etc.)
Excellent Computer Skills (Windows environment, Microsoft Word, Internet)
Excellent command of the English language (both written and oral)
Be an EU citizen or have a Work Permit
Holder of European Driving License
Any additional language is an advantage i.e. German, French

Responsibilities
Prepares and monitors all required Seagoing and River Budgets
Prepares and monitors the Office Budget
Prepares Monthly and Quarterly Vessel results
Undertakes various Costing Projects for new clients
Prepares various Reports such as Crewing & Payroll Analysis
Checks and approves the Monthly Vessels Statements and submits to the Head Office
Controls and approves all clients recharge Invoices
Supervises the process of Invoice payments
Supervises the controlling process in the Cyprus office Negotiates with Travel and Manning Agents the financial terms of the Agreements with them
Negotiates and prepares Agreements with all office suppliers
Examines and proposes cost-cutting procedures and approaches
Approves all office expenses and received funds
Handles clients’ Contracts and related issues and deals with their renewal
Assists in the CBA negotiations
Assists in confidential Special Projects
Is aware, implements and complies to Company’s Integrated Management System (IMS)
Undertakes any task or duty assigned by the management
