Duties And Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong web applications using Node.js, Express.js, ES6+, and CSS3.
- Develop and support APIs and microservices that power our applications.
- Manage and maintain databases to ensure smooth operation and performance.
- Integrate our applications with external systems like networks, search engines, and information services.
- Participate in both functional and technical discussions to ensure our solutions meet business needs.
- Understand business objectives and make sure they are achieved through our tech solutions.
- Help users by creating easy-to-follow documentation, providing support tools, and offering training.
- Work closely with other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure everything works together seamlessly.
- Estimate how long tasks will take and ensure they’re completed on time.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code, following best practices to ensure quality.
- Mentor and support junior team members to help them grow and succeed.
- Create innovative web-based tools to support activism and community building.
- Develop and maintain custom web applications that enhance user experience.
Requirements
- Fluent in English, with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in software development.
- Proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Great interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.
- Self-driven and committed to improving your skills and work.
- Strong team management and collaboration abilities.
