Our client, a global provider of research and events covering Fintech, electronic trading, Payments & Banking, Crypto & Blockchain, and related technologies, is seeking a Front-End Developer.
This role involves creating responsive and user-friendly web applications by translating UI/UX designs into clean and efficient code. The Front-End Developer will collaborate with designers, back-end developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions while ensuring scalability and performance.
Responsibilities
- Code Implementation: Develop efficient, maintainable code for web apps using frameworks like Vue.js, JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, and CSS; convert UI/UX wireframes into interactive elements.
- Responsive Design: Implement responsive design for seamless rendering across devices and address technical feasibility challenges.
- Optimization: Optimize web apps for speed, scalability, and performance, addressing bottlenecks.
- Testing & Debugging: Conduct tests, debug, and troubleshoot issues to maintain app functionality.
- Team Collaboration: Work with designers, back-end developers, and product teams to deliver cohesive apps; participate in planning and sprint meetings.
- Stakeholder Communication: Gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure solutions align with business objectives.
- Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain clear code documentation and contribute to team processes through reviews and best practices.
- UI/UX Integration: Work with designers to create user-friendly interfaces and provide feedback for usability improvements.
- Continuous Learning & Innovation: Stay updated with development trends and contribute to process improvements.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure apps align with brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
· Proven experience (2–5 years) as a Front-End Developer or similar role.
· Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks preferably Vue.js.
· Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
· Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
· Familiarity with performance optimisation tools and techniques.
· Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
