Your role at Exness:
Exness People Operations team is growing and now looking for a Senior People Operations Officer. You will be a focal point for complex enquiries on employment law compliance, ensuring alignment with local and global regulations. Proactively work to enhance the operational excellence of the People Operations team and boost employee experience at each phase of the employment lifecycle. With a primary focus on efficiency, this role is dedicated to improving our core HR processes through automation and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. As a key contributor, this role bridges operational delivery with strategic objectives and supports the transition of the team into a Centre of Excellence.
The location of this position will be on-site at our offices in Cyprus.
You will:
- Oversee and manage employee lifecycle processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from onboarding to offboarding;
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement optimizations in collaboration with the team;
- Provide guidance and support on employment law compliance, ensuring alignment with local and global regulations;
- Act as a trusted advisor for People Ops and HR Business Partners on operational policies and best practices;
- Lead initiatives to streamline workflows and improve People Ops efficiency;
- Support the successful execution of on-site and remote payroll;
- Proactively identify and resolve emerging issues and risks to deliver high-quality services for employees;
- Work closely with the Automation & Analytics team to manage core HR workflows within the HR systems, fix gaps and deficiencies, and suggest and implement improvements;
- Take responsibility for HR systems, ensuring global configurations are maintained, data integrity is upheld, and processes are optimized for operational excellence;
- Execute regular audits of the core HR processes, employee data and documentation within the HR system;
- Collaborate with stakeholders to provide insights through data analysis and reporting, supporting decision-making processes;
- Lead or participate in cross-functional projects to support strategic goals;
- Develop , implement, and maintain policies and procedures based on the stakeholder's requirements;
- Support global alignment of People practices initiatives across all offices;
- Provide cover of team members' responsibilities while they are on leave.
What makes you a great fit:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field., Holder of CIPD will be considered an advantage.
- Over 6 years of experience in the HR Operations field, including at least 2 years in a senior role such as Senior People Operations Officer (or equivalent), preferably within a Fintech company or a fast-paced, high-growth industry, ideally in a global or multi-regional setting.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems with a comprehensive understanding of data management and integrity.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel, with expertise in complex formulas, data analysis, and reporting.
- Strong and practical understanding of local employment laws.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret and apply employment law knowledge to provide sound, practical advice tailored to organizational needs
- Skilled facilitator of team collaboration, with the ability to connect insights, processes, and stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to design, adapt, and implement systems and processes to meet evolving organizational needs.
- High level of IT and database literacy, with the capability to quickly learn and navigate new systems and tools.
- Fluent in spoken and written English, with excellent communication skills to convey complex information clearly.
