Working closely with the HR Manager, this role is crucial in supporting day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and providing exceptional service to both employees and management. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in HR practices, a strong understanding of Cyprus labor laws, and exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the full recruitment process, from job postings and candidate screening to interviews and offer facilitation.
- Develop competitive compensation and benefits plans using market research to attract and retain talent.
- Work with hiring managers to identify and address staffing needs.
- Support onboarding by preparing documents, improving workflows, and ensuring a smooth new hire experience.
- Conduct exit interviews and manage offboarding documentation.
- Maintain accurate HRIS records, ensuring GDPR and labor law compliance.
- Draft and update HR documents like contracts, handbooks, and policies.
- Organize corporate events and activities to enhance company culture.
- Create and analyze HR reports on metrics such as turnover, recruitment, and absence rates.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee queries on HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Assist the HR Manager in resolving employee concerns and fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Help coordinate performance appraisals, track progress, and update employee records.
- Implement training programs and design career pathways to support employee growth and development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in HR, recruitment, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
