Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager to oversee the operations and strategic planning of MITO - Serbelles Hotel.
MITO-Serbelles Hotel will be ready to operate in July next year.
The ideal candidate will drive business growth while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. We prefer candidates with experience in the EU or the Middle East or with similar regional expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the hotel’s overall operational strategies to meet performance targets.
- Oversee and coordinate daily operations across all departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, and Sales.
- Create and manage budgets, ensuring the achievement of revenue and cost objectives.
- Monitor service quality and guest satisfaction, addressing feedback and complaints promptly.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and the board, providing regular updates on hotel performance.
- Analyze market trends and competition to develop innovative marketing and promotion strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all legal regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in managing upscale or luxury hotels, with at least 3 years in a General Manager or equivalent role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations, with strong business and financial acumen.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to identify and implement innovative solutions.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Greek is preferred (additional language skills are an advantage).
