Main Responsibilities:
· Oversee and manage the complete accounting cycle.
· Lead and manage the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
· Coordinate with team members to streamline closing procedures and meet deadlines.
· Review and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.
· Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
· Ensure adherence to established accounting protocols.
· Oversee and ensure the accuracy of the financial transactions.
· Submission of tax and vat requirements and ensure the timely completion of the accounting department’s deadlines.
· Sales Invoices and payments processing.
· Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of financial reporting requirements.
· Assist in the preparation of financial reports and management accounts.
· Mentor and guide junior accountants and accountants.
· Foster a positive and productive work environment within the team.
· Conduct performance evaluations and offer feedback for professional development.
· Obtain and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's financial reporting requirements.
· Implement and improve accounting processes.
· Collaborate with external auditors during audits.
· Assume the responsibilities of the Accounting Supervisor in case he is incapacitated.
· Undertake any other tasks or assignments as directed by the accounting supervisor and head of accounting.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or related field. A Master’s degree will be considered an advantage.
· 5+ years of accounting experience, with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Key Requirements:
· Expertise in financial reporting and tax preparation.
· Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
· Experience in managing audits and compliance with accounting/financial standards.
