We ‘re on a mission to find the best talent out there. We are now looking for a talented Research and Development Associate to join our Research and Development team in our offices in Athens.
What the job looks like?
The Research and Development Associate will have the opportunity to:
- Critical review of documentation provided by active substance suppliers (incl. synthetic route), providing comments on compliance with current regulations and guidelines
- Evaluation of the risk for Nitrosamine impurities based on the structure of a molecule and the conditions existing in the synthetic route of the active substance or the manufacturing process of the finished product
- Contribution in cross-functional projects, by providing feedback on the possible degradation pathways of a molecule and the possible impurities that could be formed in the active substance or the finished product
- Support with expert opinion on the most appropriate specifications for impurities in the active substance as well as the finished product, for new product developments
What does it take to do the job?
- University degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy or other relevant science degree with a strong focus on organic chemistry. A postgraduate degree will be considered as an advantage.
- Prior, relevant work experience will be a considered a plus, but is not a pre-requisite.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and prioritize work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Very good interpersonal skills, analytical thinking and results orientation.
- Strong computer literacy
- Fluency in Greek & English
