Job Title: Head of Tax (Corporate/Direct Tax)
Location: Limassol, Cyprus
Type: Permanent, Full-time
Salary: €55,000 - €75,000 depending on experience
Company Overview:
We are partnered with one of the most reputable and trusted international professional service firms in Cyprus, with their head office in Limassol, our client is looking for high caliber professional that specialised in Corporate/Direct Tax to join their team.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal profile would be a Senior Tax Manager/Tax Manager with an ACA/ACCA qualification stemming from an Accounting/Professional Services firm looking to take the next step in their career.
The role:
- Preparation and reviewing income/corporation tax computations for clients doing business in various industries
- Preparation and submission of tax returns (TD1, TD4, TD7 etc.)
- Dealing with various tax matters including tax assessments/appeals, tax registrations/de-registrations, tax investigations and tax rulings
- Undertaking the preparation of capital gains tax calculations as well as capital statements.
- Liaising with the tax authorities regarding clients’ tax affairs
- Keeping up to date with the changes in the field of taxation and informing other affected departments
- Develop and lead the Tax Department
The Requirements:
- University Degree in Accounting and Finance or equivalent field
- Professional qualification with the ACCA/ICAEW
- At least 6 years of experience in tax related work
- Holder of ADIT or similar professional qualification will be considered an advantage
- Attention to detail and drive to deliver high quality work
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- Fluent in Greek and English
