The HR Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting daily HR functions and ensuring efficient HR operations within our organization. This position is focused on executing HR processes, maintaining compliance with local regulations, and providing exceptional support to employees and management. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR principles, knowledge of Cyprus Labor laws, and excellent organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities
1. Employee Lifecycle Management
- Support the onboarding process by coordinating documentation, conducting new hire orientations, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
- Manage employee offboarding, including exit interviews, final payroll processing, and necessary documentation.
2. HR Documentation and Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS, ensuring compliance with GDPR and local labor laws.
- Prepare and update HR documents, such as employment contracts, employee handbooks, and policy manuals.
3. Payroll and Benefits Administration
- Assist in payroll processing to ensure accuracy and timely payment for all employees.
- Administer employee benefits and manage enrollment and changes in the benefits program.
4. Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with Cyprus employment laws and regulations.
- Generate HR reports on metrics like turnover, recruitment, and absence rates.
5. Employee Relations and Support
- Address employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Support the resolution of employee issues by collaborating with HR management.
6. Performance and Talent Management Support
- Assist in the coordination of performance review cycles, tracking completion, and updating employee records.
- Support the development and implementation of employee training programs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience: 2+ years in HR operations or a related role, with a focus on Cyprus labor practices.
- Language: Proficiency in both English and Russian; additional languages are a plus.
- Technical Skills: Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Certifications: Relevant HR certifications (e.g., CIPD, SHRM) are advantageous.
