Roles & Responsibilities :
- Your primary role involves leading and developing QA teams to uphold the highest standards in software development.
- You are required to shape and implement QA strategies, methodologies, and frameworks to ensure seamless processes.
- You'll be responsible for unifying manual and automation testing approaches to improve testing efficiency.
- Administering improvements in automated testing and agile testing practices.
- Your role also involves managing performance evaluations and mentoring team members to encourage continuous growth.
- Coordinating and prioritizing testing activities across multiple projects or product releases.
- Collaborating with senior management to report on quality assurance activities and progress.
- Identifying opportunities for test automation and implementing suitable frameworks to enhance efficiency.
- Overseeing the hiring process to build a strong QA team for manual and automation roles.
- Working closely with other department heads to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
Expectations & Requirements:
- Should possess a BSc or MSc degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Quite an acquaintance with QA principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Must be skilled in leading QA teams with 7+ years of Automation QA experience, including 3 years in a leadership role.
- Ensure that you have experience in transforming QA processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
- Ensuring hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks like Robot Framework and Playwright.
- You are also expected to demonstrate a strong understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
- Additional attributes include proficiency in Python, SQL, and practical experience with Jenkins CI, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Nice to have skills include ISTQB foundation-level certification and experience with performance and load testing frameworks.
