Job Outline:
We are currently seeking to recruit a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Larnaca.
This role will focus on infrastructure automation, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, cloud deployments, and the preparation of installation files for offline installations. The DevOps Engineer will also be responsible for monitoring and managing production servers to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment (CI/CD) pipelines across environments.
· Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using appropriate tools and technologies.
· Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth and reliable operation of software and systems
· Manage and deploy cloud-based services, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance.
· Monitor and manage production servers, ensuring performance, security, and system stability.
· Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
· Ensure seamless integration of tools such as Bitbucket, Jira, SonarQube into the development lifecycle.
· Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role (3+ years)
· Strong experience with CI/CD tools and processes (Managing and automating)
· Proficient in scripting and automation (e.g. PowerShell, Bash, Python).
· Experience with the Microsoft Ecosystem (Windows Server, SQL Server, .NET Core Applications)
· Experience with Git, Azure, and Jira.
· Strong understanding of cloud platforms and deployment strategies (Azure).
· Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on collaboration and teamwork.
· Experience with containers (Docker)
Nice to have:
· Experience with infrastructure automation tools.
· Experience with containerization tools (e.g. Kubernetes).
· Experience with server monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus).
· Knowledge of security best practices for infrastructure and deployment.
