WE ARE LOOKING FOR
AlchemyTech is looking for a Legal Assistant to join our international team of talented individuals.
The successful candidate will be a part of the team focusing on ensuring that our company adheres to legal standards and requirements.
In more detail, the Legal Assistant will be responsible to:
- Review, draft, and amend agreements or any other legal documentation required for the operation of regulated firms.
- Lead the preparation and submission of licensing applications to relevant regulatory authorities.
- Prepare legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Assist in the handling of disputes and legal issues, to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Conduct legal research to stay informed about new laws, regulations, and legal precedents affecting the company or clients.
- Assist in the development and implementation of company policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks.
- Ensure the company adheres to all relevant laws and regulations, and suggest amendments if needed.
- Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of issues, including corporate law, regulatory compliance, contract law, and employment law.
- Work closely with various departments, including HR, Finance, and Operations, to ensure cohesive compliance and legal strategies.
- Perform any other related duties, as may be required by the Management and/or the direct Supervisor.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE
- Excellent knowledge with practicing law, specializing in drafting corporate agreements.
- Strong understanding of legal and regulatory compliance requirements of the FinTech industry.
- Lawyer qualification from the Cyprus Bar Association.
- Bachelor Degree in Law. A Master's Degree will be considered as an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and high ethical standards.
