Position Overview
We are looking for an ‘Employee Engagement & Onboarding Specialist’ is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing onboarding processes that foster a positive and engaging experience for new hires. This role ensures that new employees feel welcomed, supported, and fully integrated into the organization’s culture and values. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enhancing employee retention, job satisfaction, and alignment with company goals.
Responsibilities
Onboarding Program Development
- Design and continuously improve onboarding programs to align with company culture, values, and business objectives.
- Develop and manage onboarding materials, including welcome kits, presentations, handbooks, and training schedules.
New Hire Integration
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new employees during their onboarding period.
- Coordinate pre-boarding activities, including accommodation setup, flight bookings, and initial communications.
- Organize and facilitate orientation sessions, company tours, and introductions to teams.
Employee Engagement
- Collaborate with the HR team to ensure a seamless transition from recruitment to onboarding.
- Monitor and assess the onboarding experience through feedback surveys and direct communication with new hires.
- Develop initiatives that enhance engagement.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Partner with managers and team leaders to ensure new hires are effectively integrated into their teams.
- Coordinate with learning and development teams to ensure access to required training and resources.
- Act as a liaison between new hires and HR for any concerns or questions during the onboarding period.
Cultural Advocacy
- Promote company culture, values, and diversity and inclusion efforts through onboarding content and practices.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen new employees’ sense of belonging.
Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to track and improve processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Work independently, managing work schedule based on the needs of the position.
- Driving license
- Fluent in Greek, English and any Nordic language will be considered as an advantage
