We are searching for an enthusiastic and committed
West Africa Regional Manager to join our dynamic team at HFM.
Your role at HFM:
- Develop and implement business development strategies aligned with the company's overall objectives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and market trends.
- Create and execute plans to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients and partners.
- Negotiate and close deals that align with the company’s goals and values.
- Act as the primary point of contact for significant business development opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of business development professionals.
- Set performance targets and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on achieving results.
- Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, sales, and product development to align efforts and maximise impact.
- Ensure smooth handover of new clients to the account management and operations teams.
- Work closely with senior management to communicate progress and align priorities.
- Develop and manage budgets for the business development department.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and return on investment (ROI) for business development activities.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with business development initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market dynamics.
- Drive continuous improvement in business development processes and strategies.
- Introduce innovative approaches to business development that leverage new technologies and methodologies.
Requirements
What You Bring:
- French and English Speaker. Greek would be considered as an advantage.
- 3+ years’ industry experience. Experience in a managerial position would be considered as an advantage.
- Extensive travel within the whole West Africa region is required.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of the industry and market in which the company operates.
- Proficiency in using CRM software, business development tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
EU/EFTA citizens OR holders of a Cyprus work permit OR foreign nationals married to an EU citizen.
