The Commercial Director will play a strategic role in shaping and leading the company’s commercial activities, overseeing the entire commercial cycle, including after-sales support, marketing, budgeting, and sales for both wholesale and retail. Additionally, this role will hold responsibility for quality assurance (QA), ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Strategy & Sales Management
- Drive growth and meet sales targets in wholesale and retail through strategic planning.
- Manage the sales cycle end-to-end, ensuring customer satisfaction and strong after-sales support.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, partners, and suppliers.
- Lead and inspire the sales team, promoting high performance and engagement.
Marketing & Brand Development
- Execute marketing strategies to boost brand visibility and support company goals.
- Identify new market opportunities and refine product positioning, pricing, and promotions.
- Oversee consistent brand messaging through advertising and digital channels.
Budgeting & Financial Oversight
- Manage the commercial budget to maximize growth and efficiency.
- Review sales data to find growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Provide regular commercial and financial KPI reports with actionable insights.
Quality Assurance (QA) & Compliance
- Establish and monitor QA processes to ensure compliance with guidelines and policies.
- Collaborate with teams to uphold quality standards throughout operations.
- Conduct regular audits to maintain and improve QA compliance.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior commercial or technical management role, preferably within the construction materials, industrial products, or related industries.
- Proven track record in driving sales growth, managing commercial budgets, and achieving financial targets.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance (QA) standards and experience in developing and implementing compliance frameworks.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Analytical and strategic thinker with strong decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in Greek and English.
