As Cook A', you are responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes at Grecotel Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of the kitchen team, the Cook A' ensures that all culinary operations are executed to the highest standards, while maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe kitchen environment. The role involves managing kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and consistency, and working closely with the Chef to create exceptional dining experiences for guests with care by following the company's SOPs. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a wide variety of dishes according to recipes and company standards
- Ensure all food items are properly stored, labeled, and organized
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels for food and kitchen supplies
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create new menu items and concepts
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace
- Follow all sanitation procedures and safety standards
- Assist with the training and development of junior kitchen staff
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cook A' in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Extensive knowledge of various cooking techniques and ingredients
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and high standards for food quality
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
