Tickmill is looking to hire a Head of Data & Analytics to lead, inspire, and mentor a team of highly skilled Data Analysts and Data Engineers to support and elevate data-driven initiatives across the organization.

What the job looks like?
The Head of Data & Analytics will have the chance to:
- Shape and drive the data strategy, including the ongoing development and future migration plans for data infrastructure and analytics tools.
- Engage directly in data analysis and engineering tasks as necessary, setting a high standard for technical excellence and hands-on leadership.
- Advocate for and promote a data-driven culture within the organization, collaborating with various departments to align on data best practices and encourage data literacy.
- Oversee the creation and delivery of data insights and actionable reporting using SQL Server and Power BI, guiding the team to translate complex data into clear, impactful stories for stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including executives, to understand business needs and ensure data solutions are aligned with strategic goals.
What will you need to be able to do the job?
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science, or Engineering; a master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years in data and analytics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally in the FinTech or similar industry.
- Strong experience with SQL Server for data warehousing and Power BI for data modeling and visualization. Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric or similar modern data platforms is a plus.
- Proven track record as a hands-on leader who can contribute to technical work while effectively managing and guiding a team.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and people skills, with a natural ability to build rapport across different teams and levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills to oversee and align multiple initiatives, maintaining focus on both short-term objectives and long-term data goals.
