Job Description
We are seeking to hire a skilled and dynamic HR Manager to join our existing HR team in Cyprus. Reporting directly to the Head of HR, the ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, strategic thinking, and practical HR expertise to support the company's growth and maintain a productive and positive working environment. This role requires a proactive, hands-on professional who can manage day-to-day HR operations, drive key HR initiatives, and foster employee engagement.
Your Responsibility:
- Collaborate with the Head of HR to design and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives.
- Contribute to workforce planning, talent management, and organizational development initiatives.
- Assist HR recruiters and other HR team members with daily operational tasks to ensure efficient HR service delivery.
- Support the HR team in maintaining accurate employee records and handling routine HR inquiries. Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract top talent and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop job descriptions.
- Manage the company’s performance evaluation process, including employee self-assessments, manager evaluations, and goal-setting.
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance management and employee development.
- Act as a key point of contact for employee relations, addressing concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and consistent manner.
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication and collaboration among employees and management.
- Ensure compliance with employment regulations and internal policies.
- Track and analyse HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, absenteeism, etc.) to inform decision-making and improve HR processes.
- Prepare regular reports on HR activities for the Head of HR and senior management.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of Cyprus labor laws and regulations.
- CIPD Level 5 or Level 7 qualification will be considered an advantage.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English (Greek language skills are a plus).
- Leadership and people management skills.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
