Key Responsibilities:
- System Maintenance and Management:
- Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers.
- Monitor and maintain network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls).
- Implement and manage backup solutions.
- Security Management:
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
- Monitor systems for security breaches and respond to incidents.
- Regularly update systems with security patches and software updates.
- Provide security training to employees and conduct vulnerability scans.
- Compliance and Auditing:
- Ensure systems comply with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS).
- Prepare for and assist with IT audits.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization:
- Monitor system performance and optimize configurations.
- Plan for future system capacity needs.
- Manage company WiFi to ensure minimal downtime.
- User Support and Training:
- Provide technical support for hardware and software issues.
- Conduct training sessions on new systems and security practices.
- Data Privacy and Protection:
- Implement measures to safeguard customer data.
- Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
- Disaster Recovery Planning:
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans.
- Regularly test disaster recovery procedures.
- Software and Application Management:
- Install and configure company software and financial applications.
- Manage software licenses and ensure compliance.
- System Integration:
- Work on integrating financial systems and applications.
- Manage APIs for various financial services and platforms.
- Cloud Management:
- Manage cloud resources and configurations (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations and procedures.
- Generate regular reports on system performance and security incidents.
- IT Asset Management:
- Track and manage hardware and software assets.
- Plan and execute larger IT initiatives.
- Provide IT support for remote work arrangements.
- Website Management:
- Ensure security, performance, and updates of company websites.
- Maintain a list of active and inactive websites.
- Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Experience with security management and compliance.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
