Position Overview: The Head of Dealing Desk will oversee the Dealing Desk operations,ensuring efficient trade execution, risk management, and compliance with regulatoryrequirements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Forex industry,excellent leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.This role requires residency in Cyprus.
Key Responsibilities
Management and Supervision: Lead and manage the Dealing Desk team, ensuring optimal performance and
adherence to company policies and procedures. Oversee daily trading activities, ensuring timely and accurate trade execution. Develop and implement strategies to optimize trade flow and minimize risk.
Risk Management: Monitor and manage market risk exposure in real-time. Implement risk management policies and procedures to mitigate potential losses. Conduct regular risk assessments and stress tests.
Compliance and Regulatory: Ensure all trading activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal
policies. Liaise with regulatory bodies and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry
regulations. Prepare and submit necessary reports to regulatory authorities.
Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute the company's
trading strategy. Identify new trading opportunities and products to enhance profitability. Stay informed of market trends and developments to make informed trading
Decisions. Client And Stakeholder Relations
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients. Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the Forex industry. Proven experience in managing a Dealing Desk in a regulated environment.
Skills: Strong understanding of Forex trading, market dynamics, and risk management. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficient in trading platforms and software. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.
Other Requirements
Must reside in Cyprus or be willing to relocate. Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
