Tickmill is looking to hire a Payroll Officer to join our Accounting team.

What the job looks like?
The Payroll Officer will have the opportunity to:
- Process payroll for all employees of the group accurately and timely.
- Collect from various departments the monthly payroll changes and send them to external payroll providers for payroll calculation.
- Review payroll calculations from external payroll providers and send any comments prior to final approval.
- Prepare and distribute direct deposits to employees in certain jurisdictions.
- Upload payroll batch files to banks for payroll processing.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding payroll processing, including tax regulations, wage and hour laws and benefits administration.
- Generate payroll reports for Management as needed.
- Maintain accurate payroll records.
- Prepare monthly group payroll analysis and reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly payroll entries to be posted in the Accounting Software.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll issues or concerns.
- Collaborate with HR department to ensure accurate employee data and compliance with company policies.
- Assist with other payroll and accounting– related tasks ,as assigned by Group Head of Accounting and Group Accounting Supervisor.
What will you need to be able to do the job?
- BSc in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- Knowledge of Cyprus payroll legislation is a must.
- Strong understanding of payroll principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
It will be considered as a plus if you have:
- Proven experience in payroll of multinational groups with more than 150 employees.
- Knowledge of Estonia payroll legislation.
- Knowledge of additional payroll legislations.
