About The Role
As the Finance Manager you'll take the lead in ensuring the financial health of the organization. Your expertise will play a crucial role in shaping strategic decisions and optimizing financial processes.
Responsibilities:
- Accurate Transaction Posting: Efficiently record journal entries to capture all business transactions with precision.
- Manage Finances: Oversee accounts receivable by issuing invoices and conduct timely reconciliations for accounts payable.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in crafting comprehensive financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, adhering to legal and company standards.
- Expense Oversight: Review expenses, payroll records, and other vital financial documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Data Management & Reporting: Maintain and update financial data in databases, and prepare insightful weekly/monthly reports to support data-driven decisions.
- Support Management: Collaborate with management on month-end and year-end closings, and contribute to various accounting projects.
- Team Collaboration: Foster a spirit of teamwork by providing support to colleagues as needed.
Requirements:
- Experience: Demonstrated expertise in management accounting, accounting supervision, or similar roles.
- Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of fundamental and advanced accounting principles.
- Cost Accounting Specialist: Strong capability in cost accounting and reporting methodologies.
- Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in financial analysis, including budgeting and forecasting.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in financial software and MS Office Applications, with knowledge of accounting software such as Xero being a plus.
- Top-notch Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial information clearly.
- Problem Solver: Detail-oriented with a knack for innovative problem-solving.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational and leadership abilities.
- Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, ACCA, or a related field.
