Your role at Exness:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our team.
As a Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts and ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services.
Reporting to the Procurement Head of the Real Estate division and working closely with project managers, facility manager, technical director and the finance team.
You will:
- Purchase goods or services that meet the required quality standards and specifications
- Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
- Control spending and build a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs
- Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms
- Stay up to date on industry trends and new products
- Compare available goods with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing
- To perform cost/scenario and benchmarking analysis
- Monitoring of market prices
- Taking part in updating the unit rates database
- Calculation of prime cost/provisional sums for contractors
- Value engineering
- Prepare weekly reports and submit them to the Line Manager for review
- Any other tasks which the Line Manager can assign
What makes you a great fit:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field preferred
- A minimum of 2-3 years of procurement experience, especially in the Construction/Real Estate industry
- Prior project management experience is an advantage
- Strong written and oral communication skills in Greek and English
- Understanding of Procurement Cycle, Policies, and Procedures will be an advantage
- Request, evaluate, validate and recommend bids for purchasing goods and services for Construction/Real Estate projects
- Liaise with finance to ensure timely processing of all purchase orders
- Manage and own quality control and review process of all procurement done for related Department
- Perform related administration work
- Demonstrates ability to deliver results within the scope of responsibilities and meet deadlines
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Results and solutions-oriented
- Advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and E-mail communication system
- Jira and Odoo experience / other ERP system users will be a plus
