We are looking for an IT Help Desk Specialist to join our client’s growing team in Limassol within the forex industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to end-users, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth functioning of IT systems. Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level support for IT issues, including software, hardware, and network problems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, guiding users through step-by-step solutions
- Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware, including desktops, laptops, and peripherals
- Assist with the setup and management of user accounts, permissions, and passwords
- Maintain records of issues, solutions, and actions taken, using the company’s ticketing system
- Coordinate with IT teams and external vendors for issue resolution when necessary
- Support office systems and assist with regular updates and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and best practices
Requirements:
- Prior experience in an IT Help Desk or technical support role, preferably in a similar industry
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and common troubleshooting tools
- Familiarity with network systems, basic networking, and hardware maintenance
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English
