Responsibilities:
Account Reconciliation:
- Perform regular reconciliation of general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies and variances identified during the reconciliation process.
- Collaborate with other departments to obtain necessary information for reconciliation purposes.
Financial Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports for management review.
- Generate and distribute financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements in reconciliation and accounting procedures.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements and streamline workflows.
Ad Hoc Analysis:
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis as requested by management.
- Participate in special projects related to financial process improvements or system implementations.
Banking:
- Communicate with Banks.
- Opening New Bank Accounts as per the needs and the jurisdiction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in reconciliation and accounting roles of 1 – 2 years
- Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel will be considered as an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
