As a Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the daily restaurant operation, maintain the high-quality standard of services provided and ensure an exceptional guest service. Your duties include managing daily operations for the smooth operation of the restaurant, supervising and managing employees and creating daily work schedules with care by following the company's SOPs. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage restaurant operations to ensure smooth running of the outlet, including effective management of staffing levels, inventory, budgeting, and financial reporting
- Train, motivate, coach, and discipline employees, ensuring staff are delivering on the Grecotel brand values and standards of service excellence
- Implement effective procedures for food and beverage quality control, presentation, and service according to Grecotel's standards
- Liaise with the Executive Chef and F&B Manager on menu planning, promotions, and special events
- Maintain knowledge of local competition and make recommendations to continually improve Grecotel's offerings and remain competitive
- Manage guest feedback and resolve complaints in a timely and satisfactory manner
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a restaurant management position within a luxury hotel or resort
- Proven experience in managing and supervising teams, with the ability to motivate and build morale
- Strong understanding of budget management, financial reporting, and forecasting
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to uphold high service standards
- Deep understanding of food and beverage service procedures and quality control
- Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
- Fluency in English, knowledge of additional languages will be considered as an asset
