Grecotel Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel chain in Greece, is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Manager to join its team. As a Hotel Maintenance Manager, you will work closely with the hotel's management team to ensure the smooth operation of the property and provide exceptional service to guests. Also, will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of the hotel's facilities, ensuring they meet the company's high standards of luxury and comfort with care by following the company's SOPs. Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee a comprehensive maintenance program for the hotel, including preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs
- Manage a team of maintenance staff, providing direction, training, and support as needed
- Perform regular inspections of the hotel's facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure they are promptly addressed
- Coordinate with other departments, such as housekeeping and front office, to ensure that the maintenance needs of the hotel are met in a timely and efficient manner
- Manage the inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring that they are well-maintained, organized, and readily available for use
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and other service providers to ensure that the hotel receives high-quality service at a reasonable cost
- Ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations and standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a maintenance management role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
- Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety
