We are seeking a Compliance Officer to implement the relevant provisions of the Law relating to risk management issues
Responsibilities:
As the Head of Compliance Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring regulatory compliance and preventing financial crime. Your responsibilities include:
- Developing and conducting ongoing compliance training for employees.
- Preparation of Compliance Monitoring Program/Plan
- Keeping the Internal Operations Manual up to date and monitoring its implementation.
- Implementing procedures and processes to prevent Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing.
- Supervising the company's marketing materials to ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations, conducting thorough investigations into compliance violations or allegations.
- Monitoring and assessing the effective implementation of the company's policy principles on AML and KYC.
- Submitting reporting obligations to CySEC.
- Performing the Company’s reporting obligations.
- Integrating relevant rules and regulations into daily business operations.
- Investigating and resolving client issues related to trade execution, financial transfers, and account documentation.
- Identifying and addressing shortcomings in AML practices, reporting to the Board of Directors and Senior Management when necessary.
- Submitting reporting obligations to CySEC via TRS and Portal.
- Responding to requests and queries from CySEC and MOKAS.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's and/or master's degree from a university in Law, Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or any other related discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience in a relevant department.
- CySEC Advanced Certificate is a must. CySEC AML Certificate will be considered an advantage.
- Fluency in English with excellent written and communication skills.
- Resilience, the ability to work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
