Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and passionate cook to join our dynamic culinary team. As a cook at LPM Restaurant and Bar, you will play a crucial role in upholding our commitment to culinary excellence. You will work alongside talented chefs in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the creation of exceptional dishes that reflect the essence of Mediterranean cuisine.
What you will do:
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to the restaurant's high standards and recipes.
- Take ownership of a specific section within the kitchen, ensuring mise en place and cooking techniques are executed flawlessly.
- Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and quality across all dishes.
- Uphold strict hygiene, health, and safety standards in the kitchen, adhering to all relevant regulations.
What do you need:
- Proven experience as a Cook in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
- Knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine, including traditional techniques and ingredients.
- Proficiency in multitasking and working efficiently under pressure in a busy kitchen environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually stunning and delicious dishes.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to thrive in a collaborative culinary environment.
- Relevant culinary qualifications and certifications are preferred.
