We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Specialist to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the payroll process, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Doo’s Expectations:
- Maintain accurate payroll records, reflecting any updates in employee information or employment status.
- Ensure payroll processing aligns with current regulatory and compliance standards.
- Prepare and distribute payroll summaries and necessary payroll-related reports.
- Support the onboarding and payroll setup for new hires.
- Provide timely payroll documentation and communication to employees.
- Update and manage payroll systems to ensure accurate and efficient processing.
- Address employee questions about payroll processes.
- Collaborate with HR to streamline and enhance payroll-related processes.
- Monitor and implement payroll-related regulatory changes as needed.
- Complete, required annual payroll documentation and filings.

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or a related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in payroll processing (1-3 years preferred).
- Knowledge of payroll software and systems (e.g., Codeworks or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
