We ‘re on a mission to find the best talent out there. We are now looking for a talented Accountant to join our Accounting team in our offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
Duties:
- Prepare and and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal entries
- Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Prepare and submit VAT Returns, Intrastat and VIES
- Support the preparation of financial statements and regulatory filings in compliance with applicable regulations and standards
- Participate in financial audit, preparation of information needed and oversee the process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and support business initiatives
- Support in the monitoring of budget performance and expenditure control
- Support in ad hoc projects and active participation in all accounting activities
- Analyse financial data and assist in the preparation of reports
- Support the Finance Assistant Manager with any other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or LCCI Higher or relevant.
- Previous working experience in Accounting and/or Finance
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
- Fluency in both Greek and English language
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment
