Job Overview
Flyfish is seeking an IT System Administrator to join our dynamic and international team. This role has two main focuses: supporting the company's overall in-house tech needs and providing adhoc cybersecurity support. Responsibilities
- Computer support and maintenance - Provide technical support for all company employees, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, setting up new equipment, and maintaining existing systems.
- Cybersecurity- Assist with securing our local systems based on specific company needs. Optimizing systems to ensure the network is supportive and responsive. Presenting findings, reports and solutions to upper management.
- System monitoring and issue resolution - Monitor all company systems to ensure they are functioning optimally and respond swiftly to any technical issues.
- User training and support - Offer training and support to employees on technology-related matters, ensuring they can use company systems effectively.
- Process improvement - Continuously identify and implement improvements to the company’s technology infrastructure and processes.
- Vendor management - Build and maintain relationships with technology vendors to ensure the company receives the best service and support.
Qualifications
- Knowledgeable with mac operating systems and other Apple products
- Google Admin system administration experience
- Local area network and user station experience
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- A proactive approach to identifying and implementing process improvements.
- On-call availability for business critical issues, outside the set working hours.
