YOUR ROLE
As a Dealer/MT5 Administrator with at least 5 years of experience, you will manage and maintain the MT5 trading platform, ensuring seamless operation and optimal performance. You will handle server installations, updates, and troubleshoot technical issues, while offering 2nd line support to internal teams and clients. Additionally, you will assist the CTO, Risk Manager, and other departments in providing technical support, managing trading risks, and ensuring platform scalability. You will manage system upgrades, MT5 Gateways, and plugins, and document processes to ensure efficient platform performance and risk management strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- The right candidate will be responsible to manage, maintain, and operate the MT5 trading platform, and ensure a seamless operation
- Assist the CTO, Risk Manager and other departments time to time to provide technical support
- The role requires managing trading platform, from installing, monitoring platform performance, and providing 2nd line support to all technical issues
- Install and configure MT5 servers, backup server and Access points
- Perform periodic MT5 updates
- Coordinate with infrastructure team to perform operating system level and other software updates
- Manage MT5 Gateways & plugins
- Provide cross department assistance and ensure all tickets are answered in timely fashion
- Assist in the maintenance, performance, and trading enhancements via bridge
- Investigate and resolve various incidents relating to trading systems as L2 Report system bugs to L3 support
- Manage system upgrades, document processes, and provide technical support for their clients and internal departments.
- Configure and modify MT5 settings, such as groups, securities, margin, leverage etc..
- Perform capacity planning to meet growing trading volumes and ensure infrastructure scalability.
- Manage and optimize MT5 Gateways, plugins, and APIs to ensure smooth integration with liquidity providers and trading systems.
- Assess and manage trading risks, including market, credit, and liquidity risks. Implement risk management strategies and adhere to risk limits set by the company.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of Forex markets, including technical and fundamental analysis, to identify trading opportunities and make informed trading decisions.
- Monitor and analyse market prices, spreads, and liquidity providers to ensure competitive pricing for clients. Adjust pricing based on market conditions and liquidity availability.
- Prepare and analyse daily, weekly, and monthly trading reports, including trade volumes, profitability, and market trends. Provide reports to management and relevant stakeholders as required.
REQUIREMENTS
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel including pivot tables.
- Hands-on experience with bridges such as FXCubic, Centroid, OneZero, or similar systems is required.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as New Relic or similar platforms to ensure performance optimization.
- Ability to document processes effectively and communicate technical details.
- Basic knowledge of the financial markets beneficial, good mathematical ability a must.
- 5+ years of experience managing MT5 or similar trading platforms in a technical role.
- Experience creating a reliable and redundant MT5 platform by leveraging backup trade servers and system backups.
- Robust personality, ability to manage pressure and a flexible, amicable personality.
- Fluency in English is mandatory
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work under pressure efficiently
- Certifications in networking or security (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA) are an added advantage.
- Good understanding of client’s servers-based application
