Legal Counsel

Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of legal documents and agreements, with a primary focus on marketing agreements.
- Ensure compliance of data transfers with relevant data protection regulations, including CCPA and GDPR.
- Conduct legal research across various international jurisdictions (primarily the USA) and provide thorough legal analysis.
- Assess internal processes for GDPR alignment, propose necessary changes, and oversee their implementation.
- Draft privacy policies and other internal policies to maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Monitor legislative changes and ensure the company’s operations remain compliant with new legal requirements.
Requirements:
- A law degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar legal position, preferably in an international IT company.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, with a focus on English law.
- Experience in marketing, particularly working with affiliate marketing agreements is a significant advantage.
- Excellent drafting skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with data protection regulations, including CCPA and GDPR. Experience with U.S. legislation is a plus.
- Proficiency in Russian and English at C1 level or higher.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and a strong desire to learn and develop in marketing and data protection.
