What You ‘ll Be Doing
- Analysis of a communication system with a focus on tactical communication systems (land, naval, air), 5G and satellite systems
- Physical and Functional system architecture and design
- Coordination of design, development (prototyping), integration and testing/verification activities over the complete communication system lifecycle
- Requirements management
- Preparation of documentation

Required
Qualifications & Experience
- 5-year Diploma/Integrated Master in Electrical & Computer Engineering (with Major in Communications preferably) or University Degree with a MSc in Communications or Networking/Data Communications
- Knowledge and experience with various wired and wireless communication systems, protocols & interfaces, cybersecurity issues & policies
- Basic systems engineering experience (e.g. system architecture and design, systems documentation, system requirements)
Desired
- Experience in design, development, integration, testing and verification of communication systems (classified at different security levels)
- Experience with analysis and simulation tools, e.g. MATLAB, Simulink
- Experience in using MBSE tools to model complex systems and processes using SysML, UML, e.g. Enterprise Architect and tools for requirements management (e.g. DOORS)
- Knowledge in networking technologies (TCP/IP stack, switching, routing)
