We are looking for a
Manufacturing Director, on behalf of our client in the manufacturing industry, to join their premises in Attiki, Greece.
Main Responsibilities
- Collaborates with executive leadership team to drive the strategic direction of manufacturing operations
- Ensures effective use of facilities, equipment and staffing to maximize profitability
- Optimizes equipment utilization, minimizes delays, and manages costs and revenue
- Oversees manufacturing activities, including production plans and process creation to meet corporate goals
- Be accountable for all aspects of performance (quality, cost, deliveries, people and safety)
- Develops and implements manufacturing policies, using lean concepts to improve productivity in cooperation with the Plant Manager and Manufacturing Engineering Manager
- Works with the COO to develop budgets and track financial performance
- Develops continuous culture improvements and lean best practices
- Reports progress to the executive team and participate in company-wide best practices initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- At least 8 years of relevant working experience in the manufacturing industry; experience in the Electronics / Electrical industry will be considered a plus
- Experience in the electrical & electronics or mechanical assembly operations preferred
- Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Excellent knowledge of the English language
