We are looking for a Manufacturing Director, on behalf of our client in the manufacturing industry, to join their premises in Attiki, Greece.

Main Responsibilities

Collaborates with executive leadership team to drive the strategic direction of manufacturing operations
Ensures effective use of facilities, equipment and staffing to maximize profitability
Optimizes equipment utilization, minimizes delays, and manages costs and revenue
Oversees manufacturing activities, including production plans and process creation to meet corporate goals
Be accountable for all aspects of performance (quality, cost, deliveries, people and safety)
Develops and implements manufacturing policies, using lean concepts to improve productivity in cooperation with the Plant Manager and Manufacturing Engineering Manager
Works with the COO to develop budgets and track financial performance
Develops continuous culture improvements and lean best practices
Reports progress to the executive team and participate in company-wide best practices initiatives

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering
At least 8 years of relevant working experience in the manufacturing industry; experience in the Electronics / Electrical industry will be considered a plus
Experience in the electrical & electronics or mechanical assembly operations preferred
Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office suite
Excellent knowledge of the English language
Excellent leadership and team management skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent communicational and interpersonal skills
