Candidate Profile
We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Registered Nurse who:
· Holds a valid and current nursing license.
· Has previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably with expertise in IV administration and blood draw procedures.
· Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Is fluent in both Greek and English.
· Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy.
· Is flexible and willing to work varying shifts.
· Works well under pressure and is committed to continuous professional development.
Duties & Responsibilities
Intravenous (IV) Therapies:
· Assess patient history and health status for IV treatment suitability.
· Prepare and administer IV medications and fluids per physician orders.
· Monitor patient response and vital signs, and document all IV procedures.
· Educate patients on therapy benefits and possible side effects.
Blood Draws:
· Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures for diagnostic testing.
· Ensure accurate labeling and safe handling of specimens.
· Maintain infection control and a clean, organized workspace.
Patient Care & Education:
· Assess patient well-being during visits.
· Provide pre- and post-procedure instructions.
· Educate patients on test results and treatment options (as directed).
Documentation & Compliance:
· Record all procedures and interactions in electronic health records (EHR).
· Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with medical standards.
Equipment & Supply Management:
· Operate medical equipment safely and efficiently.
· Monitor and report equipment issues or supply needs.
