FxGlobe EU is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Accounting and Finance and will be responsible for the following:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of the monthly accounting records of Group entities, ensuring their accuracy and completeness.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and execution of payments.
- Ensure accounting entries adhere to IAS/IFRS standards and that all required files are properly maintained and up to date.
- Perform or review daily bank reconciliations.
- Debtors and creditors reconciliations.
- Continuously review, monitor, implement, and recommend improvements to accounting and reporting procedures.
- Assist and coordinate with the Head of Accounting & Finance during annual external/internal audits and regular reporting requirements.
- Undertake any other relevant duties and assignments as directed by the Head of Accounting and Finance.
Necessary Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA qualification.
- A university degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related field.
- Experience in a CySEC-regulated investment firm and prior experience in a similar position is considered a strong advantage.
- 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Strong people management skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and working knowledge of accounting software.
- Excellent written and spoken knowledge of the English and Greek languages.
- Initiative and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Problem-solving and results-oriented mindset.
