Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Food and Beverage Manager to join our team and oversee all aspects of our food and beverage operations. This role will be instrumental in delivering high-quality service, enhancing guest satisfaction, and driving revenue growth. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will lead a team of passionate professionals, managing daily expenses, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee daily food and beverage operations, including restaurants and bars.
- Ensure smooth coordination across departments to maintain high standards in guest service and satisfaction.
Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of Managers, Supervisors, Servers, Bartenders and support staff.
- Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and implement staff development programs.
- Overlook weekly schedules to maintain labour costs and guest satisfaction.
Quality and Standards Compliance
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are strictly followed, including hygiene and food safety.
- Implement company policies, procedures, and standards to uphold a consistent and high-quality guest experience.
- Regularly inspect facilities to ensure compliance with cleanliness and maintenance standards.
Inventory and Cost Control
- Manage inventory levels, ordering, and purchasing relationships to minimise waste and control costs.
- Analyse monthly financial data, develop budgets, and create financial reports for the Operations Manager.
- Work with management teams on costs for food, beverages, and supplies.
Customer Service Excellence
- Engage with guests, handle complaints, and resolve service issues to ensure a positive guest experience.
- Gather customer feedback and analyse trends to improve service offerings and menu selections.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in food and beverage management or a related field, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of POS systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office.
